About Course

A two-year postgraduate programme, M.Sc. in Mathematics is available in 4 Semesters in the department. This program's major goal is to provide pre-research experience as well as in-depth knowledge of many disciplines of pure and applied mathematics. The curriculum enhances the problem-solving expertise and advanced research skills of the students. Students learn about fundamental mathematical concepts such as Abstract Algebra, Real Analysis, Differential Equations, Complex Analysis, Probability Theory, Operations Research, Integral Equations, Topology, Numerical Analysis, Functional Analysis, Fluid Dynamics, and many others. Project work is also included in the program's fourth semester to help students strengthen their research skills.
